Yiyili Aboriginal Independent Community School is an independent school catering for students from Kindergarten to Year 10. It is governed by a school board consisting of members from the local communities and has five multi-age classrooms. The school has a current enrolment of 66 students and is fortunate to have excellent facilities including a covered basketball court, full commercial grade kitchen, a dedicated music room and library as well as a workshop. All classrooms are well equipped to service the learning needs of students and have interactive whiteboards as well as class sets of iPads.
